Aunque los chicos de Green Day se han caracterizado más por hacer punk y canciones con un contenido profundo, realista y ácido, las baladas casi no se han visto en su discografía. Time of your life es una de esas pocas baladas que no sólo logra conmover, sino que posee una letra muy bella. Es bueno recordarla.
