No tenemos dudas de que la época dorada de muchos géneros musicales fue la década de los ochenta. El disco, por ejemplo, tuvo su apogeo en esos años y canciones como Footloose de Kenny Loggins (tema principal de la película homónima protagonizada por Kevin Bacon), no hacían más que llamar al baile y a la noche.
