"The only exception" , La única excepción en español, es el nuevo tema de la banda "Paramore". Esa vez hicieron algo diferente, una canción de amor, algo más lento y más romantico, distinto a los temas que ha lanzado el grupo estadounidense.
El tema, es el tercer sencillo del álbum "Brand New Eyes".
En el video de la canción aparece la vocalista, Hayley Williams, acostada junto a tarjetas color rosa y narra su viaje por encontrar su verdadero amor.
"No es una canción rápida o con un ritmo como las otras, pero es una oportunidad para nosotros hacer algo diferente" comentó Hayley resepecto al tema.
