A pesar de tener una existencia "virtual", la banda Gorillaz se ha encargado de mantenernos en vilo casi una década. La música de su primer álbum aún se mantiene vigente gracias a mezclas arriesgadas y poco comunes en otros trabajos del formato pop. 19-2000 es el ejemplo de que en un solo disco pueden convivir temas orientados a lo macabro (Clint Eastwood) como la ligereza de un sonido que siempre se siente fresco.
