Jessica Rose "Jessie" James es una cantante y compositora PopCountry que ha alcanzado el éxito gracias a su esfuerzo y talento, en muy poco tiempo.
En Junio del 2009 anunció que seria la encargada de abrir los shows del Tour de los Jonas Brothers. Su disco debut "Jessie James" fue lanzado el 11 de agosto del 2009 debutando numero 23 en Billboard hot 100 con ventas superiores a 20.500.
Ahora viene con un nuevo tema que ya cuenta con video musical. "Boys in the summer" es su nuevo single promocional que será incluido en su próxima producción discografica. La canción fue producida por John fieldss y coescrita por Jessie y James Michael.
El video oficial de la canción estuvo dirigido por Roman White, en el que se pueden apreciar a los chicos sin camisetas en un clima muy caluroso y las chicas bailando y cantanto en mini shorts.
