Gracias a que existían innumerables grabaciones con la voz, del ya fallecido hace algunos años, Mercury Mercuryy, se pudieron grabar y reeditar este nuevo álbum para el deleite de todos sus seguidores.
"Absolute Greatest" reúne 20 temas tales como "Another one bites the dust", "Crazy little thing called love", "Under pressure", "Dont stop me now", los cuales no han sido remasterizados.
Queen se formó en 1970 en Londres, Inglaterra, por el guitarrista Brian May, el cantante Freddie Mercury, el baterista Roger Taylor y con el bajista John deacon, para convertirse en una de las más exitosas de su tiempo.
