"Paramore" es una banda rock alternativo formada en Tenessee en 2003. La banda està integrada por Hayley Williams, Jeremy Davis, Zac Farro,, Josh Farro y Taylor York. En el 2005 editaron su primer àlbum "All we know is falling", en el 2007 el segundo llamado "Riot". Su tercer trabajo  "Brand new eyes" fue lanzado el 29 de septiembre de 2009 debutando en el numero 2 de la lista de Billboard 200.

Definitivamente la canción que los hizo conocidos a nivel mundial fue el soundtrack de la exitosa pelicula "Twilight" (Crepùsculo), la canciòn lleva por tìtulo "Decode" y es la canciòn que los llevo al èxito.

"Brick by boring brick" es el segundo sencillo del àlbum "Brand new eyes".
