Lena fue la ganadora del concurso de talentos Unser Star für Oslo ("Nuestra estrella para Oslo"), cuya final fue realizada el 12 de marzo de 2010. La victoria le dio el derecho a representar a Alemania en el Festival de la Canción de Eurovisión 2010 con la canción "Satellite" escrita por los compositores Julie Frost y John Gordon.
El festival realizado el 29 de mayo en el Telenos Arena de Oslo (Noruega), fue visto por más de 14 millones de personas en su país.
"Satelite", es un tema parte de su primera producción discográfica titulada "My cassette player". El single se ha convertido en el más vendido de la pretemporada de Festival de las canciones participantes de esta edición, alcanzando no solo el número uno en Alemania sino que está en las listas de ventas de Austria, Suiza, Luxemburgo y Hungría. En el album se publicarán, además de “Satelite”, las demás canciones que presentó en la final alemana “Unser Star für Oslo”, algunas canciones que cantó en las fases preliminares y canciones inéditas.
